I heard about people like you.

You’re the person everybody knows but no one really gives a damn about. With the flashy style & the flashy words. Countless successful attempts at picking up high school aged ladies with poetry, verbs. But at the end of the day you were always just a rebound. People like you, who think they have it all figured out. Who tell themselves i’ll start change tomorrow & wake up & say they’ll do it the next day.

Empty promises, finding truth in you is like trying to find a needle in a stack of hay. You see I’ve read you like the Hunger games but I have laughed at you & have never taken you seriously like the National Inquirer. I know you. Like the back of my hand. 

I know you were never always like this. I know that you had no intention to become the very thing that you said you would never be, but it feels good for you right? At least for a little while.

I hate you. You are a monster, you are a demon. With manipulative powers, you open up yours arms like refuge but if she isn’t as physically attractive as you saw in the pictures you refuse to admit knowing her. Who the hell do you think you are? You are just a rhythm less void.

I know you’ve been hurt, I saw you. I felt you. I saw how she smiled & it shined like crescent moons, how she took you in like the Venetian hotel but she took you in & she treated you like it was an orphanage. She broke you down & you fell like 9/11.

Inside job, she went inside your soul & planted bombs. & boom, crash. After rebuilding yourself you came to the conclusion that every girl is like that but you are wrong. You are so wrong.

& you have become that monster. Now stop looking at me, i’m trying to clean my mirror.
